Water Safety Instructor Course description and information
WSI prepares instructor candidates to teach American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim levels Parent-tot through Level 6. Upon successful completion of this 33 hour course, participants will be certified in WSI and FIT (Fundamentals of Instructor Training). Class fees: $200 +$75 for Materials/Certificates
Pretest:
Thursday April 8 ~ 6-9pm
Class days/times: Tues/Thurs April 13 to 29 ~
6-9pm
Saturdays April 17 & 24 ~ 9am-4pm
Course Fee: $275 (includes
instruction, materials and 2 certifications (WSI and FIT)
$75 material deposit required to secure
spot in class.

1. Contact your local Red Cross chapter to attend a group orientation or update online 24/7 at
www.InstructorsCorner.org/RedCross.
2. Order your new Swimming and Water Safety materials from your chapter or www.ShopStayWell.com.
3. Submit your orientation verification form to your chapter or unit of authorization.
