Schedule: Swimming lessons can be scheduled in advance via
telephone or email. All classes that we have scheduled at Chaminade
will appear on a 3x5 index card inside of your payment envelope
found poolside. Please place your payment into this envelope;
all accounting will be kept on the card inside this envelope. Any
notes that I have for you will be written on the outside of your
envelope including balances or credits. Please notify me by
phone for any changes and/or cancellations that you
would like to make to ensure adequate notice and awareness.
Registrations for Toadal Fitness need to be made in advance of
class.
Payments: At Chaminade: Please look for the envelope with the participants' first and last name on the top left corner. You may pay by cash or check. Make your checks payable to Seahorse Swim School, Inc. Payment is due at each lesson or at the beginning of a session if you are signed up for a package deal. Slide your payment in the envelope provided and I will keep track of the accounting on the 3x5 card inside. Any notes that I have for you, will be on the outside of your envelope, please check the front of your envelope each time. At Toadal Fitness~Capitola: payments secure your spot in the class. Payments can be made during business hours to the "I'm a Seahorse Swimmer" payment box inside the front door to the left. Include class/participant information on the memo line of your check or use the envelopes provided (behind brochures) for cash payments. Cancellations/rescheduling: I require 48 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. This allows me enough time to try to fill your timespot. Please leave a phone message for cancellations to ensure adequate notice . If inadequate time is given for your missed lesson, you would be held responsible to pay for the lesson(s) missed. If you know someone who wants to come in your place, please refer them to me for scheduling.
Inclement Weather for outdoor pool locations: Instructors will telephone clients on the day of scheduled swim lessons if lessons are to be canceled due to inclement weather. Lessons continue when it is raining unless we have thunder and lightning present or the bottom of the pool is not visible. Weather cancelations are often made at the last minute due to fluctuations and quickly changing weather patterns in Santa Cruz. Lessons canceled by instructor at the last minute due to inclement weather conditions will be rescheduled. Link to The Weather Channel for the latest weather forecast.
